TURN-KEY MARKET ENTRY FOR CRYPTO PROJECT

A recently launched cryptocurrency project that had to overcome barriers to market entry by providing additional liquidity, user acquisition and awareness
The Challenge
Client:
Seems that we could expect much more hype gained at the ICO stage. We are looking for opportunities to boost our asset's development.
LaunchIT:
What kind of boost are you exactly looking for?
Client:
We are mainly interested in increasing the trading volume as the current numbers don't look too optimistic. In our belief, entering several well-recognized exchanges may help.
LaunchIT:
Got it. Let's start with a search for additional listings to simplify the process of acquiring your token for the crypto community. Spreading a word on your project among the top niche media would also make sense.

Client
Actually, we've already tried to push some publications about our project, but this didn't lead to a notable conversion ☹
LaunchIT:
This is a pretty common issue, especially when you don't have a reliable strategy at the beginning. In a perfect world, you have to succeed with the article you wish to pitch, its SEO-optimization, the list of media publishing the piece, and many more. That is just what our business is about :)

Client:
Hmm...
LaunchIT:
And the finishing touch - a well-balanced advertising campaign, to be sure that the target audience has no chance to miss your news.
Client:
You've made your point! Let's elaborate on the details.
LaunchIT:
Exactly!
The Solution
Shortly after first contact at Web Summit 2019 in Lisbon, we successfully agreed upon a full-scale promotional strategy, comprising both B2B and B2C action plans, aimed at fast and robust project development.

In the very first days of the campaign we started negotiating listings with several exchanges, chosen on the basis of reputational, accessibility and expenditure criteria. As a result, we managed to facilitate the integration of the promoted asset onto 3 exchanges, including the EXMO exchange.

While the negotiation process was in full swing, we simultaneously started PR and advertising campaigns.

Regarding the former, we crafted and consistently delivered several press-releases, covering the scheduled listings, along with publishing an extensive interview with the project's CEO. The articles were released in several significant media outlets, like Cryptodaily, BTCManager and Bitcoinist, among others.

The latter involved various advertising tools, like ad networks (mainly Coinzilla and Cointraffic), Facebook ads and placing native banners on niche websites (Coingecko, 99bitcoins).

Result
The negative publication was superseded by a top-positioned article, related to the very same topic and providing some vital updates on the situation that caused the initial trouble. Although there was no real chance to completely delete the negative article, we managed to negotiate adding some positive updates to the article itself.
